So you’re interested in getting started building your online empire but not exactly sure where to start? Well, fortunately, here are a few tips and tools to get you started on what to do next.

A lot of beginner internet marketers have wondered that exact same question and a lot of them have found there start with Affiliate Marketing.

What is Affiliate Marketing?

Simply put, Affiliate marketing is the process of earning income every time you promote someone else’s products or services. Through your promotion efforts either organic or paid, (more on this later)  a sale is made for the company, you get paid. If you don’t make a sale, you do not get paid.

In order to get started as an affiliate marketer you need an offer to promote. You should be looking for a product that provides a commission for each sale you generate. 

It’s also important that you are somewhat interested in this product, because with limited funds you are going to focused on driving free traffic to this offer by creating valuable content for a specific audience. 

When it comes to generating sales you have to connect with people’s emotions, most fall into three buckets of which they have passion for and they are Health, Wealth, and Relationships. 

I encourage you to find products in one of these three categories that you either already consume a ton of content on or are passionate about. This will give you a huge advantage as you promote these offers.

1. You believe in them.
2. You know they could be of value to people.

Once you are signed up with an affiliate network and have an offer(s) selected. Your next step is to get traffic to your offer. This is why I encouraged you to pick a topic you have some interest in and are willing to provide value and gain the trust of your specific audience so they want to buy through your affiliate link.

There are several ways you can attract your potential audience for free some include blogging, podcasting, using websites like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube to broadcast your content.

Your aim on the marketing channel(s) you choose is to consistently provide high quality content. 

One of the easiest ways to create this content is by giving your audience your honest opinion of the product, doing reviews, tutorials, or trainings based on what they are searching for online related to the product or service.

Doing this will allow you to reach more people, and the more eyes you get on your offer, the more money you make!

Bonus Tip: Collecting emails from the audience you are building will allow you to directly communicate with them and promote other relevant offers, they could be interested in.
